Melissa Curry’s artistic impulse is drawn from her west of Ireland roots combined with the cosmopolitan experience of years in Paris and extensive travels in India, Africa and China. The inspiration for her work is drawn from the raw energy and purity of the Atlantic coastline, the luxe essence of French couture and the colourful exoticism of distant climes.

Melissa studied at Atelier Charpentier, Paris and established her Luxury Brand in 1999 with a debut jewellery exhibition at L’Eclaireur Boutique Paris. Her international career was launched with a dynamic collection at Paris Fashion Week. In London, her sculptural jewellery was the spearhead for the Liberty millennium campaign and propelled her designs into trendsetting boutiques in London, New York and Tokyo.
She has been commissioned to bring her fresh concepts to branding campaigns that include Absolut, Swarovski, Toni & Guy, Philippe Starck @ Bon, Le Bon Marche and Galeries Lafayettes. Most recently she has become involved in developing a piece for Dress for Success.

Her torc, Madb, was selected to appear in the international 21st Century Icons Exhibition in 2011.
